We know how this goes:
enjoy it until the end.
For there will be one.
That is a comfort.
We enjoy each other, yet,
the finite exists.
Right now, you're a fit.
Later, we can both move on.
Let's be good 'till then.
I won't want any more
then what we've set out for now.
We're both placeholders.

Things are good
Compared with last year,
I'm moving forward, happy.
Worry is at bay.
Nothing has to be
right now. There's the sense that
it will all turn out.
Connections strengthened
and getting better. Cliche
be damned, life is good.

My type of weekend.
A week in 4 days.
Out, about, adventures in hours.
All I missed was sleep.
Always on the move.
Out with people new and old.
Smiles all around.
Monday morning now.
Voice scratchy, eyes are heavy,
still, can't turn that down.
Out, about, adventures in hours.
All I missed was sleep.
Always on the move.
Out with people new and old.
Smiles all around.
Monday morning now.
Voice scratchy, eyes are heavy,
still, can't turn that down.

A walk in the snow
There's light snow falling.
Out for a walk after a
visit to the gym.
A small glass of wine
and homemade chili await.
Simple winter night.
Happy as I am
I can't help but start feeling
I wish this was Prague

A welcome, quiet weekend ahead.
A manic evening,
in the best possible sense.
Good friends to lean on
An early night in.
Still can't sleep but without worry.
Things will be alright.
The winter's set in.
Not everything gets frozen.
Sleep in Saturday.
Yes, more music
The older I get,
I find Paul Westerberg all
the more relevant.

Last Year Had A Winner
Did anyone else
have a better 2009
than the Black Eyed Peas?
Come to think of it,
that is really sad, or, just
damned hilarious.
Social Media and the Proroguing of Parliament
I don't like Harper,
but a Facebook group against
it seems, well, useless.
If the PM is
scared of this, then the country
has bigger problems.
